35RZ12 - The Péngöpäts Province Proposal

WHEREAS the political party with which the drafter of this proposal is associated promised in the most recent election to propose that provincial status for Pengöpäts be granted, and

WHEREAS that political party has never broken a promise before, and

WHEREAS we're not about to start now, and

WHEREAS it would be blatantly inorganic to grant such provincial status to Pengopats, since our beloved southern territory does not even come close to meeting the qualifications to become a province, as laid out in Organic Law, and

WHEREAS it would waste a lot of time if an inorganic bill was considered by the Ziu, and

WHEREAS Talossan statutory law (specifically 25RZ19) empowers the Secretary of State to refuse, if he so desires, to submit an offered proposal for consideration by the Ziu if more than five errors are detected, and

WHEREAS inorganicity counts as one, so we have five more to go here, and

WHEREAS spelling errors also count, and

WHEREAS the following five words are misspelled: kat, howse, mery, lakrash, pilly, and

WHEREAS even if it's not a misspelling of something, as far as the author of this resolution knows, lakrash does not have any meaning at all, and would testify that this is an error on his part, and not a neologism, although it does seem like a cool word that might should become part of the Talossan vocabulary, who knows, and

WHEREAS even if this proposal were submitted to the Ziu, the party proposing it has pledged to vote against it, and

WHEREAS this shows all the more that it would sure be a waste of time to even submit this proposal to the legislators, now

THEREFORE be it enacted that henceforth, and for all perpetuity, the Antarctic Territory of Pengöpäts shall be known as the Province of Pengöpäts, and shall enjoy status as a fully empowered province of the Kingdom of Talossa, equal to all others that exist or that will be created in the future, Amen.
