24RZ46 - The Alfred W. Lawson Recognition Act

Clarked in the Fifth Clark (September 1998) of the 24th Ziu
Clark Entry ID: 133
Bill ID: 533

WHEREAS Alfred W. Lawson was a pioneer in the development of aviation, largely forgotten today; and
WHEREAS Alfred W. Lawson developed a singularly nutty science of his own, appropriately named Lawsonomy, also largely forgotten; and
WHEREAS Alfred W. Lawson was a brilliant unconventional thinker whose entire career was improbably abzurd with a capital Z, much like Talossa's very existence; and
WHEREAS the University of Lawsonomy, which was formed in the 1940s to promulgate his teachings, still lives on today in the Greater Talossan Area (specifically in Sturtevant, WI, near the highway I-94}, and
WHEREAS many Old Growth Talossans have seen the university's billboard for years, scratching their heads in puzzlement; and
WHEREAS the Lawsonian term "disorg" has made its appearance into Talossan English, having been used more than once in political discourse on Wittenberg;
THEREFORE the Ziu hereby designates September 22nd; the anniversary of the day his baseball team won the Atlantic League Championship in 1907; Alfred W. Lawson Day.
