22RC07 - The Cort Nomination Act

WHEREAS, Justice Weston J. Erni has fulfilled six years of devoted service to the Uppermost Cort as a man of principle, competence, moral integrity and devotion to the text of the Constituziun; and WHEREAS, Justice Erni has chosen to resign his office on the Cort so that new blood might be introduced into Talossa's most traditional government body; and WHEREAS, Geoffrey D. Toumayan has agreed to take Erni's place on the Cort, and has proven by his long service to Us and to the Nation that he is indeed a worthy successor to the Erni tradition in every way (including the beard), THEREFORE, We, Robert I, by the Grace of God King of Talossa, etc. etc. etc., hereby ask the Cosâ to ratify the resignation of Justice Erni, and in his place We present the nomination of GEOFFREY D. TOUMAYAN to serve on the Uppermost Cort. This appointment shall take effect at such subsequent date as can be worked out among the members of the Uppermost Cort.
