34RZ20 - The Official Statement Act

Whereas, phony, self-serving and fictitious “histories” of events inside Talossa which transpired last June (2004) are floating around the internet outside of Talossa, and

Whereas, an objective non-partisan statement on those events would be of benefit to the nation and the general public,

Therefore, the Ziu hereby calls upon the Prime Minister to appoint an Official Statement Committee to consist of the King, the Prime Minister, and one representative to be appointed by the CLP party and one to be appointed by the ZPT party. The mandate of the Committee shall be to prepare for public consumption an official record of events that led to the treasonous identity theft of Talossa’s name and to publicly identify the persons legally responsible. The committee shall be chaired by such person as the Prime Minister shall appoint, but the Ziu recommends the name of Marc Moisan for the chairmanship, as he has already prepared a preliminary version of the proposed statement.

The official Statement shall be published on the internet and shall serve as an official legal record of events. However, the deliberations themselves on the wording of the statement shall be held in private.
