WHEREAS, the government of the United States of America has recognized citizens of the Kingdom of Talossa as having exclusive legal rights to use the word “Talossa” to identify their community,

THEREFORE, the Ziu hereby calls for a referendum at the earliest possible opportunity to add the following, Article II, Section 2b, to the Organic Law:

Art.II, Sec. 2b: The name “Talossa” as a registered trademark under United States and international law is held in trust for the Kingdom of Talossa and its people by the King of Talossa and his lawful heirs and successors. Upon the adoption of a separate amendment to this Organic Law to direct the same, the King may choose to surrender the legal ownership of the trademark to the Corporation as defined in the preceding article. Pending the adoption of such an amendment, the King shall consult with the Talossan government before initiating any attempts to enforce the trademark laws against such groups or individuals as may be in violation thereof.
