34RZ06 - The three strike law

WHEREAS , Talossans should be free to participate in the nation as much or as little as they please, and

WHEREAS , requiring a citizen to vote or register a non-vote with the Secretary of State to maintain citizenship does not enhance democracy in any real way, and

WHEREAS , as desirable as voting may be, the loss of citizenship for failing to vote in three consecutive Cosa elections is unnecessarily harsh,

Therefore, the Ziu hereby authorizes a public referendum at the earliest legal opportunity to remove Article XVIII: Sec. 10 of the Organic Law in its entirety.
