Under the leadership of President Mugabe, there has been an ongoing, ruthless campaign targeting Gays, Lesbians, and
Bisexuals in this supposedly democratic country. Mugabe has referred to them as "worse than dogs and pigs" who have
"no rights at all." He has called upon his police to "step up their campaign against these social misfits," whom he refers
to as "castaways of a decadent, western society." Even same-sex kissing and holding hands is illegal in Zimbabwe, where
Gays and Lesbians are routinely beaten brutally and imprisoned, and submitted to electroshock torture to "cure" them of
their "disease" at government psychiatric "institutes." Zimbabwe has been strongly denounced by South Africa and many
other nations, and now Talossa hereby strongly denounces the Mugabe regime and adopts a full economic embargo against Zimbabwe.
