20RC32 - The Anti-Cybercits Act

Clarked in the Sixth Clark (February 1996) of the 20th Ziu

Since it is impossible to personally meet and interview any would-be Talossan citizens who reside in areas of the world too distant for such in-person meetings to be practicable; and whereas it is vitally important that the Uppermost Cort be allowed to do so to prevent the entry of undesirable elements into our cherished nationette; and whereas "Cybercits" would only be to us what they wish to tell us via the Internet (there would be no way to discer the truth about who we're dealing with); therefore, the Cosa hereby reinforces its support for the status quo, which calls for direct, in-person interviewing of would-be Talossans by the TUC, and in so doing, disallows the citizenship of anyone who cannot be met in person.
