15RC24 - The More Foreign Policy: Algeria (again) Act

Clarked in the Third Clark (October 1992) of the 15th Ziu

Whereas, PM Buffone has issued a PD repealing Talossa's support for the Algerian Government's difficult decision to preserve Algeria as a secular, 20th Century society with substantial human rights for all; and has instead chosen to align Talossa with murderous hordes of Fundamentalist Islamic wackos who want to chop people's hands (etc.) off for the slightest offence, force women to wear veils and throw them out of universities, and retreat several centuries into silliness; and Whereas, the Talossan nation is deeply embarrassed by the mess the PM has put us in, Therefore Tom's PD on the subject is torched and Talossa once again expresses its hope that Algeria can solve its problems without resort to force but that if reconciliation between the secular and irrational communities proves impossible, that Talossa will always stand by the former (provided they don't start massacring people or stuff like that).
