14RC35 - The King Must Apologize

Clarked in the Fourth Clark (May 1992) of the 14th Ziu

Whereas I, a US Marine, served with forces deployed in the Persian Gulf and engaged in combat, where the love of God, country and Corps superseded fear, I hereby demand public apology from the king for stating I "subsist on government sponsored jobs" and have my "snout in the taxpayers' trough". $1.39 per hour for basking 18-20 hours a day in 115 degree heat is hardly enough to compensate me for being separated from family, home, and friends. Sacrifices like the one I proudly made cannot be downplayed by those who live at home for life, subsist on Mom and Dad, and do not know the meaning of courage, patriotism, and discipline. King Robert, you said the wrong thing to the wrong person.
