Whereas a great many active Talossans are skilled and/or obsessed with military
affairs, and Whereas national defence demands vigilance and has gained in import-
ance in today's world of uncertainty, Therefore the Cosa firmly establishes a
military heirarchy as follows:
Commander-in-Chief of the Talossan Armed Forces: King Robert I (or current holder
of the office of King/Regent)
Minister of Defence (appointed by PM)
Chiefs of Staff (of equal rank), as follows:
Chief of Staff, Army and Army Air Force: General Wes E i (currently)
Chief of Staff, Navy and Coastal Defence Force: Mercenary Admiral Kurt Litscher
(currently)
Chiefs of Staff are appointed by the Cosa, and each Chief of Staff has direct
control over his branch, including strategies and tactics, doctrine, uniforms,
weapons, etc. They may appoint lesser commands as situations may deem necessary.
NOTE: The naming of the King/Regent as C-in-C amends Article 14 of the Talossan
Constituziun. The text will be altered to contain the following:
The King/Regent shall be Commander-in-Chief of the combined military forces of
the Talossan Kingdom, subject to the advice and consent of the Cosa, the Minister
of Defence and the Chiefs of Staff as appropriate."
