This question was actually separated by province, but all of the provinces voted for electing Senators, except for Maritiimi-Maxhestic and Belacostă, where the vote was tied; ultimately, only in the latter was an election not held in the subsequent July-August 1997 Elections. One voter in Cézembre abstained.
